Some old, some new. It started out as a 1980 Schwinn Heavy-Duti I picked up at a garage sale. The frame is powder coated Wine Red. The kickstand and it's mount was missing from the frame so I cut one from another Schwinn and welded it on. The rims are powder coated Alabaster White and laced to Shimano hubs. The rear hub a 3 speed off some other bike and is controlled by a thumb shifter. The rear carrier came off our pre-war Firestone and was also powder coated. Tribal flame seat and grips. I cleaned up the original rusty mag sprocket. Michelin Country Rock middle weight, hi pressure tires for easy rolling.
We built this bike for my
Father-in-law who became ill while we were building it. He passed away shortly after receiving it and was only able to ride it a couple of times.
