I decided just to leave the bike in primer for that Hot Rod look. Couldn't decide on a color anyway. When assembling it this time I noticed the rear end of the frame is pretty tweaked. Glad I didn't put any more effort into it. It'll ride fine though. Put on a smaller sprocket, Schwinn head badge and speedometer. Apes with leopard grips off of another of my bikes.

Primered the frame and fork. Painted the red & white seat black with rattle can paint for vinyl. I can't decide what color to paint it. I'd like to paint it a color that goes with the blue banana seat should I choose to put it back on but that limits my color choices.

This is the 2nd bike I'm building up for the Grandkids visit.
I needed the seat to go lower than it would currently go. This had to do with the angle of the sissy bar. So that meant moving the seat bracket forward.
The rear tire is a tight fit, real close to the rear fender brace so I had to extend the axle slot in the rear dropout.
The frame was busted and rewelded sometime at the chainstays. When they did this it altered the geometry. As you can see the top tubes take a dip at the seat tube. Here it is mocked up with the banana seat.
Not to keen on the look of the banana seat so low and worried about it still not working out for the Grandkids. So I tried this seat.
