This morning we took a 25 mile ride (round trip) to the nearby Ninnescah river. Mostly on gravel roads. Once back in town we stopped at the Sonic for lunch and a limeade which really hit the spot. Riding home we spotted a couple of old bikes in a "seniors" residence complex. I don't know if they are for decoration or riding. View track here.
I did some work on one of Nova's cruiser bikes rebuilding the rear hub and cleaning it up a little. I don't have a work stand so what I do is hang the bike from the opposite end I'm working on from the garage door rail.
Later we went for a 12 mile ride out towards the country on both pavement and gravel roads.
Tired of waiting for the rain to stop this morning I put on my rain coat and ventured out in it to get me a creamed coffee. Took shelter at the park, drank my coffee and downloaded a application for my phone's camera that has a self timer. Once the rain let up I rode around town for a while. When lunch time approached I stopped by a Mexican carry-out, picked up a few food items, took them over to my parents house and ate with them.

This is another bike shirt I got over the weekend. It's from Udall Custom Bikes.
Today after eating at one of the local Mexican restaurants we decided to try and burn some of our lunch off and rode the long way home out and around town instead of through it. This meant riding with 50mph car traffic which my lunch and riding companion doesn't like so much anymore. In addition to that we also rode 6 extra miles on what I assume is a new bike lane? It's the width of a car, newly surfaced and separated from motor vehicle traffic by orange cones. Doesn't get any better than that :-)
