I spotted this home-made electric recumbent at a local convenience store today. It has electric hubs on both the front and back wheels. The owner said he builds them to sell but currently doesn't have money to buy parts or a place to build them. He also showed me a photo of one that is twice this long.
I spotted this bike today at a convenience store. My first thought was that a one-armed rider had modified his bike. It wasn't until looking at the photo after I took it that I noticed the missing half of the bars dangling below. I later spotted the rider leaving. He picked up the broken bar and held it in it's place and rode off.
I wonder what happened to make the bar just snap off like that?
I see an older gentleman riding this nice middleweight cruiser around town quite a bit. Finally spotted it stopped and snapped this crappy cell phone pic.
