Last Night was our club's Tandem Night at the Thursday Night Ride. We rode our only remaining tandem. So cool to see so many tandems out at once.

This is a 20 Inch 2wheeled tandem that a friend made for his kids. They outgrew it and he gave it to me for our Grandkids.

A friend dropped of his home-made kids tandem he no longer wanted. The intent was that I would sell it at this Sunday's Swap Meet. Don't think it's gonna happen now.

Last night was our club's 4th annual Tandem Night at the Thursday night ride. We had 15 tandems show up. More photos and a video here. Pictured above is our 2 tandems.

Yesterday I retrieved this frame from storage and built it up for our club's 4th annual Tandem Night which is this Thursday. It's set up with 26x1.75 wheels, single speed coaster brake. Two years ago I built it up for the same occasion. We really don't have the space to leave it ride-able year round. We very seldom ride the other tandem we have that is set up. Last night we took it on a shake down ride to the grocery store. It moves along pretty quickly.

I was supposed to be hauling off some of the scrap bikes and tubing I've got stashed around but while digging through my scrap tubing box I got sidetracked and instead built another swing bike. I don't need another swing bike. I guess when I found the 2 head/down tubes from the girls bikes I couldn't resist. Used the rear triangle off of the tandem MTB I made years ago.

Out running errands today and spotted this for sale. We don't need another tandem but it was too nice to pass up. We bought it hoping to pass it along to one of our bike club members who doesn't have a tandem.
